Scott Gray is the CEO of Angus Montgomery Arts and brings to the role more than 20 years of international art fair and event business experience. He oversees the strategic alignment of the group’s fairs and identifies further opportunities for Angus Montgomery Arts in art fairs and across the wider art market around the world.
Gray is also CEO and Founder of the World Photography Organisation, a joint-venture with Angus Montgomery. The company was created to provide a genuine international platform for photographers to showcase their work in new and established markets. In 2007 the World Photography Organisation established the internationally acclaimed Sony World Photography Awards. 2019 marks the 12th edition of the Awards which has seen more than 2 million image submissions from across the world since its launch. This was followed in 2014 by the creation of PHOTOFAIRS, international art fairs dedicated to photography. Two editions have been held in San Francisco and PHOTOFAIRS returns to Shanghai for its 6th consecutive year in September 2019.
